Meet Michael Metivier, M.Ed.

I work with children and families who are navigating emotional challenges, school stress, and moments when something about a child’s well-being just doesn’t feel quite right.

I hold a Master’s degree in School Counseling and Adjustment Counseling and have experience working with children, families, and schools across the South Shore.

Families often reach out when they feel unsure what their child needs or what the next step should be. My role is to help parents slow down, understand the bigger picture, and think through thoughtful next steps that support their child and family.

Through my work with children, families, and schools, I have seen how overwhelming it can feel to sort through advice, recommendations, and competing opinions while simply trying to support your child.

Before entering the field of counseling, I spent over two decades in corporate roles focused on strategy and problem-solving. That experience continues to shape the thoughtful and structured approach I bring to helping families navigate complex situations.

Together we step back, look at the bigger picture, and develop a clear path forward.
